Our Basil Bombers netball team won its Grand Final against the Monstars avenging the defeat in last season’s Grand Final!
The team, captained by Samantha Muller, put in a fantastic performance in a close game with the final score 22-20. Anita Streat was awarded Best on Ground by the umpires of the Hawthorn Mixed Netball Competition for her amazing defensive efforts which largely negated one of the best shooters in the competition.
Hopefully the efforts of our netball team will act as inspiration to our cricket sides as the 2015/16 season approaches.

St James Malvern Valley Pre-Season Training for the 2015/16 Cricket season is beginning in just under two weeks time at the following times:
Monday 31/08/15 at 8pm
Monday 07/09/15 at 8pm
Monday 14/09/15 at 8pm
Monday 21/09/15 at 8pm
Wednesday 30/09/15 at 8pm
All sessions will take place at:
Maddocks Sports – UNIT 10/ 11 MARY ST BLACKBURN VIC 3130

Your feedback is highly appreciated and will be valuable in helping the Committee to make the club a better place to be during the 2015/16 season and beyond.
Please note that a couple of fixture times for the Winton Demons have changed as follows:
– 21st July vs Inbetweeners is now at 7.00pm
– 25th August vs Monstars is now at 7.00pm
The St James Malvern Valley Cricket Club AGM is due to be held at the clubrooms on Monday 27th July.
Please arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
